San Giuliano Mare is a small village which extends between Rimini's canal harbour and the river Marecchia. It started developing as a seaside resort
in the 60s, due to the increasing popularity obtained by the nearby Rimini, and soon achieved great prosperity thanks to the building of the new Basin, which is said to be one of the most beautiful and modern tourist harbours in the Mediterranean Sea.
The strategic position of the intimate and quiet resort of San Giuliano Mare, which nestles inside a small bay overlooking the Adriatic Sea and is sheltered by safe breakwater barriers, makes its well-kept beach the ideal holiday destination for bathers belonging to every age group.
