Holiday San Giuliano Mare
San Giuliano Mare is a small village which extends between Rimini's canal harbour and the river Marecchia. It started developing as a seaside resort in the 60s, due to the increasing popularity obtained by the nearby Rimini, and soon achieved great prosperity thanks to the building of the new Basin, which is said to be one of the most beautiful and modern tourist harbours in the Mediterranean Sea.

The strategic position of the intimate and quiet resort of San Giuliano Mare, which nestles inside a small bay overlooking the Adriatic Sea and is sheltered by safe breakwater barriers, makes its well-kept beach the ideal holiday destination for bathers belonging to every age group. Besides enjoying the waves of its beguiling sea, both adults and children can take part in amazing sports tournaments, funny beach games and absorbing activities organized by both bathing attendants and entertainers.

Summer holidays in San Giuliano Mare offer tourists the possibility to spend carefree days thanks to the high-quality services and facilities offered by hotels and bathing establishments and the dazzling array of absorbing activities which are held around the sea front and in the public parks of the city, Marecchia Park and Briolini Park, which are both equipped with children's playgrounds and targeted itineraries for sportsmen.

Walking down the beach or the sea front in the direction of Rimini, it is possible to reach the Basin, which in the evening hosts night clubs, open-air shows, great events and shops which are open till late at night. The fascinating Borgo San Giuliano, which was repeatedly celebrated in the films of its most famous citizen, Federico Fellini, is easily accessible both on foot, by bus and by bike. Pastle-coloured houses basking in the sun, lush gardens flourishing in the mild climate, murals and traditional inns serving traditional specialities from Romagna contribute to create a fascinating atmosphere. An ancient Roman bridge, the Tiberius Bridge, connects the ancient village with Rimini's city centre, which is scattered with plenty of clubs where tourists can spend funny evenings.
