Holiday Gatteo a Mare
Gatteo a Mare is a small and intimate seaside resort situated just in the heart of the Adriatic Coast. It is characterized by equipped guesthouses and modern hotels provided with every comfort, shops and handicrafts situated along the coast and family-run inns which provide utmost hospitality, warmth and helpfulness.

The city centre develops on a plain situated in the hinterland and gives tourists the opportunity to make interesting excursions both during the day and at night. The Malatesta Castle, surrounded by the main shopping district, is an impressive fortress dating back to the XIIth century. After its restoration, the Castle was included in the tour of the city, together with the Bell Tower of Saint Anthony, which was part of the ancient church bombed-out during World War II.

Gatteo is provided with a wide range of accommodation facilities which are able to suit even the most demanding requirements. Summer evenings are animated by shows, market stalls and concerts, while the numerous public gardens and parks are the ideal destinations to walk, relax or read a book in total tranquillity.

Gatteo a Mare is one of the most appreciated holiday destinations for families looking for bathing establishments provided with children's games, entertainment activites and fun opportunities and proper sport facilities to play beach volley, basketball and boules. In the evening, the bars situated on the beach liven up the nights of the Adriatic Coast.
